About Us

BOWtique was purchased in 2011 as a small hobby business and over the years has grown into an international label. We are now a world leader in design and fashion for children. I myself, (Shyloh) designs the clothing and accessories for BOWtique that are fun and colourful.

Drawing inspiration from my family I am influenced by generations of woman before her. Being one of six children my mother made most of our clothes, often coming up with her own designs. I even remember my cabbage patch doll having more clothes than anyone else I knew, again made by mum.

When our children came along mum made most of their clothing. With the birth of my second child I decided to use some of those design but revamp them. I starting making all her accessories as I often couldn't find the right colour to match.

We would walk down the street, go shopping... no matter where we went Fraya would always receive so many compliments. And so, I started making items for friends and family. Eventually when we thought I'd have to start work again I couldn't bear to put Fraya into full-time care. So I began to work at markets and local fetes selling my handmade clothing and accessories.

Fraya is a very sickly baby so after about 8 months BOWtique came up for sale. With very little time up my sleeve and a sick child, I knew this was my best chance to stay home with her.

BOWtique has now developed into a thriving international label. BOWtique are all about colour and fun. We want our children to enjoy them selves in their clothing, still have fun and look good at the same time. We provide a quality product supported by quality service.
